Working Principle
The rectangular element is a DP-generating throttling part. Like other DP flow sensors, it works on energy conversion in a sealed pipe: flow is proportional to the square root of ΔP (Bernoulli equation). The combined wedge + Venturi geometry prevents stagnation of particles and viscous liquid upstream of the element.
