Balanced (Multi-orifice) Flow Sensor — BF00

Balanced (Multi-orifice) Flow Sensor — BF00

BF00 balanced flow sensor improves on conventional throttling devices with a multi-functional-orifice plate that rectifies the flow field into an almost ideal profile, delivering 5–10× better accuracy than an orifice plate. Suitable for nearly all fluids, bidirectional flow and heavy-duty industrial service.

Orifice Plate Flow Sensor — BF01

Orifice Plate Flow Sensor — BF01

The orifice plate is the most widely used flow meter in history. BF01 is a standard throttling DP element manufactured and sized to international standards, covering DN15–DN1000+ with pressures up to 64 MPa and temperatures from -185 °C to +850 °C. Simple, reliable, low cost and maintenance-free.

Venturi Tube Flow Sensor — BF05

Venturi Tube Flow Sensor — BF05

BF05 Venturi tube is a standard throttling DP device developed from the Venturi effect. Its tapered geometry is free from the sharp-edge wear and fouling that plague orifice plates, and actively re-rectifies the velocity profile for high-stability measurement — ideal for dirty media and large lines at high pressure and temperature.

Averaging Pitot Tube Flow Sensor — BF10

Averaging Pitot Tube Flow Sensor — BF10

BF10 averaging pitot tube combines a low-pressure-loss DP principle with an insertion style. The aerodynamic water-drop (teardrop) section minimizes drag, multiple tapping ports sense the true average velocity, and total pressure loss is only ~3% of the measured ΔP (vs. 60% for an orifice plate). Built as a one-piece monolithic metal cavity — ideal for large lines and online installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs →
How should a vortex flow meter be installed on a steam line?

Install on a straight pipe section with at least 10D upstream and 5D downstream. For steam, mount horizontally with the meter body above the pipe axis so condensate drains away, and make sure the pipe runs full.

What straight-run distance is required before the meter?

We recommend at least 10 diameters upstream and 5 diameters downstream. When valves, elbows or reducers are close to the meter, add a flow conditioner or extend the straight pipe.

Is your CNAS calibration certificate accepted for export?

Yes. Our calibration laboratory holds CNAS accreditation (number L10524), which follows international mutual recognition, so certificates are widely accepted by overseas buyers and third-party inspectors.

How often should a flow meter be recalibrated?

Typically every 12 months for trade and critical process applications. For less critical lines a 24-month interval is acceptable. Contact us for a calibration reminder plan.
