Venturi Tube Flow Sensor — BF05
BF05 Venturi tube is a standard throttling DP device developed from the Venturi effect. Its tapered geometry is free from the sharp-edge wear and fouling that plague orifice plates, and actively re-rectifies the velocity profile for high-stability measurement — ideal for dirty media and large lines at high pressure and temperature.

Working Principle
Measurement is based on energy conservation (Bernoulli equation) and the continuity equation: Qv = K × C × √ΔP, Qm = Qv × ρ. The Venturi consists of a circular measuring tube and a coaxial profiled core; the annulus between them behaves like the throat of a classical Venturi, throttling the flow similarly to a classic Venturi or annular orifice while conditioning the upstream velocity profile.
