Nozzle Flow Sensor — BF15
BF15 nozzle is a standard throttling DP device with a long, proven history. Its smooth convergent profile offers low straight-run requirements, low permanent pressure loss and strong resistance to fouling, making it a preferred element for steam, gas and high-pressure/temperature service.

Working Principle
Based on energy conservation (Bernoulli equation) and the continuity equation: Qv = K × C × √ΔP. The nozzle is formed by a plane section A, curved sections B and C, a throat E and a protection section F. Its throttling process is similar to a classical Venturi or an annular orifice plate.
