Coriolis Meters for Accurate Dosing in Food & Beverage
Why food processors choose Coriolis
- Measures true mass flow and density in one device
- Unaffected by viscosity, temperature and flow profile changes
- Hygienic design options with Tri-Clamp and Ra ≤ 0.8 µm wetted parts
Batching syrup and dosing additives
For syrup lines, the density output lets you verify Brix continuously while dosing by mass rather than volume — repeatability in the ±0.1% range keeps every batch identical.
Daily CIP doesn't hurt accuracy
A CIP cycle may raise the pipe temperature from 20 °C to 90 °C. Coriolis tubes are balanced and temperature-compensated, so measurement drift stays minimal and the meter returns to spec after the rinse.
Commissioning notes
- Install where the tube stays full of liquid
- Keep the meter vertical or horizontal with the flow entering the correct port
- Use the 4–20 mA and HART or pulse output for dosing logic
Every Boka Coriolis meter ships with a calibration certificate and a hygienic mounting option for the food industry.
